Welcome to the website of concert organist, pianist and teacher Matthias Havinga.
Matthias enjoys a busy international concert career. He recorded many CD's, made countless other recordings and runs a successful Youtube-channel. Havinga is organist of the wonderful organs at the Oude Kerk, Amsterdam.
He is also Professor of Organ at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

Now the churches are warming up again, organ concert season begins for Matthias Havinga with a Bachconcert at the Flentrop-organ of the St. Niklaaskerk, Ghent, in a series that is collecting money to restore the Cavaillé-Coll organ in the same church. The famous organ builder considered this instrument one of hist best, but it has been silent for already 60 years.
More Bach at the end of May with two days of recording for the grand AllofBach project from the Walburgiskerk, Zutphen, partly solo and partly with tenor Daniel Johannsen.
Before the summer organ concert season unleashes all of its musical powers, Matthias is guest in June at the Waterford International Organ Festival, to play a concert and teach masterclasses in this Irish city.
